SK hynix successfully issued its first sustainability linked bond

I  According to recent news, SK hynix successfully issued the industry's first sustainable development-linked bond with a scale of US$1 billion.

II In 2021, many professionals began to deeply analyze how SK Hynix’s US$1 billion “green bond” funds would be used at that time; and SK Hynix has been creating a work system that pays equal attention to economic value and social value.

III It is reported that the Hynix chip manufacturer originated from the English abbreviation "HY" of the Korean brand. And its latest DDR5 memory module has a transfer rate of 8Gbps, the fastest in the industry.  Now Hynix has ushered in the industry's first new bond order, which shows the strength of Hynix in the industry.

IV Due to the decline in chip profits, semiconductor manufacturers such as SK Hynix and Samsung may reduce the supply of semiconductor production capacity and plan to purchase fewer silicon wafers; the two major chip factories have already targeted automotive semiconductors.

V In July 2022, the media said that Hynix's Q2 revenue has exceeded 13 trillion won! However, its shipment growth rate is lower than expected, and capital expenditure will be reduced. The news in October 2022 also showed that due to the worsening plight of the chip industry, SK Hynix’s operating profit in the third quarter fell by 60%. Hynix has reduced the number of teams in the organizational structure adjustment, ·  On the other hand, according to media reports, the price of memory sticks plummeted by 40% last year, and the "avalanche" of memory chips continues.  This bad situation will affect the development of major chip manufacturers such as Hynix, Micron, and Samsung.  In addition, the South Korean stock market closed up 1.68%, and foreign capital is rushing to raise chip stocks, led by Samsung and SK Hynix.
