FASTRON was founded in 1978 and is privately owned. The company's knowledge and know-how lies within the Electronics Manufacturing Industry. With the following main competencies of RF and power inductors, precision sheet metal housings, mechatronic assemblies and customized MR coils, the group is able to serve a wide range of customer demands for all kind of electronic coils.

With its base in Germany, FASTRON has expanded into a multinational group, with over 1,000 employees. Design, Manufacturing and Sales facilities are to be found in Germany, Malaysia, Hungary and America.

FASTRON is a brand name for inductors. Originally from Germany, they now operate manufacturing facilities in Eastern Europe as well as South East Asia, which are all IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 certified. Founded in 1978, they manufacture RoHS compliant, high quality (e.g. AEC-Q200 grade) surface mount and leaded inductors and coils.

Besides this core business, FASTRON also successfully operates a large sheet metal production for precision metal enclosures and electro-mechanical assemblies. Part of the FASTRON Group is also the company Rapid Biomedical based in Germany, experts in custom made MR Coils for MRI scanners.
